I'm making a nostalgic CD mix right now. Katie mailed me up a bunch of these old CDs we used to listen to back in the day (and still do). So I'm picking the best songs from them and making a mix. I'm super, super excited! I love music that just automatically takes you back to a place or makes you feel like the past is right in front of your eyes. That's what this does. Included in the mix: Richard Marx, Til Tuesday, One To One, Paul McCartney, Eric Johnson, Paul McCartney, Yanni, The Human League, Chris De Burgh, and Suzanne Vega. Ha.
Today was a super relaxing day. It was glorious! Got up at 12, went to breakfast, went on a walk in the nature preserve. Came back here, hung around. Then watched "American Graffiti" with Annie, Schip, and Laura. Went to dinner. Came back here, read some of my textbooks (yes, I am that nerdy!). Watched two episodes of Gilmore Girls with people. Then headed over to 3rd Schultze where Karin, Annie, and I hung out in Jeff Knol's room with him, his twin brother, and John Dingman. I like Jeff, he's super nice and funny. He's also my hockey buddy; we've been watching the Red Wings games on TV together (with other people) for the past two weeks. But we ended up watching "Donnie Darko". Gosh I love that movie! They all did too. After that some of us played Rook in the girls' basement. Came up here and watched "Pirates of the Caribbean" while eating popcorn. And here I am!
There's only about 6 of us on the floor now. All today it was only 4. It's been nice though. I like interim break.
Still no word from Josh. If I don't hear from him tomorrow I'm going to really begin to worry. Come on, please, please just contact me! You know I like you. Let me know you like me as well. Please like me too!
That's really about it. Oh and I changed my lj layout. So check it out.
I'm going to keep working on this CD a bit. I have a list of things I need to get done before break is over. I think I'm actually going to make a list of them right now too. That way I'll feel organized.
I'm out!
