The Strike and Me (and short notes on my LA adventures)

So yesterday I saw Dunder-Mifflin! For realsies. It was awesome and surreal although it really is in the middle of nowhere (which works for Scranton). Unfortunately I came too late to see the striking there.

Awesome! I saw a bunch of stikers today by bus. There's groups for each studio. The public is allowed near then, I've heard stories of them talking to people and now the WGA has confirmed everyone is welcome to join. Traffic is mainly people honking in support and cops just come if there's an issue (one person had a scare).

Yeah, I'd like to see more people there as well but I do understand that people have day jobs so its hard. But everyone will do what they can, I hope.

Steve Carell is apparently suffering from "enlarged balls".

I saw that, too! Even if he didn't say it, I can picture him saying it, and it makes me happyyyy :)

I support the strike too, though I still need to save me an icon. Please let us know how the Fox showing is.

The best thing to do so far is to send in letters to the studios telling them you support the site and will only watch your shows and not the new reality crap or whatever they put on.

Yay! I wish I had known about DUNDER MIFFLIN before, though. ;P I dunno about which places are best and stuff.. And also, I don't really know how to get there. Heh.

Well tomorrow is the big strike at Fox (news on the United Hollywood/WGA websites) and a writer told me The Office writers were at Universal at Barsam St (not tomorrow but next week). As for getting there, use the metro trip planner or drive/have someone drive you.

Hopefully when the strike ends, you can still see DM! Who needs a life when there's TV? ;)
