New Vid: Let It Be - Mad Men

So here is the vid I made for festivids this year (the first one). When I saw the Mad Men prompt with a request for Don and Peggy, I knew I HAD to make a vid for them. Thank you SOOOOO very much for taking the time to create this vid. I absolutely ADORE it and you captured the Don/Peggy relationship perfectly. I love that you used a classic song, and focused so much on the wonderful episode 'The Suitcase.' (eeeep the hand shot and how it went back to the hand touch in the pilot!) :D You highlighted so many parallels between their characters and the choices they have made, and you did so beautifully. The vid captures the show so very perfectly, and your editing is sharp and precise and wonderful. I can't tell you truly how much I love this vid, and I promise I will be watching it over and over and over again. (And of course, I had to rec it on my journal.) :D

You're welcome! The Suitcase is just a goldmine of stuff to vid and so good that I had fun watching it over and over. I loved being able to connect it to all the past stuff that completely amazed me when I saw the episode. I am really SO glad you loved it so much, it makes all the work worth it :) Thanks for all your comments on it!

I am pretty sure, I had commented on this before, somewhere else, but I had to say again, this amazing, perfect composition of the clips and the song......
love this, and I am not even a mad men fan!

Oh, this video had me tearing up quite badly at the end! Wonderful use of the music, and I loved the parallels that you drew between their lives and the secrets that they keep. Also, Don/Peggy = ♥!
