So I saw the fandom meme going around and decided to just fill it in myself for a bunch of my fandoms. Always fun to think about.
Firefly
1. The character I first fell in love with: Mal. Obviously. Was in love with him from the beginning and was oh so happy to find a Joss character that I was hopelessly in love with.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: That'd be Zoe. Watching the series again, I'm liking her more and more whereas at first she seemed a bit one dimensional to me.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: River. I enjoy her funny lines but am meh about the crazy girl stuff. She did get better in the movie but I still don't get the love.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Um...do people hate characters in this fandom?
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Well I still have a bit of love left but I'm liking Simon less than I did before. I got caught up in the hotness before but he can be a bit of an idiot although it is perfect to make fun of. Although he's great in Ariel.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Mal. Guhh. He is to die for.
7. The character I'd want to be like: Mal definitely. I'm a lot like Kaylee but it'd be fun to be more like her as well. Also it'd be cool to be like Zoe.
8. The character I'd slap: Probably Simon for being so easy to fool. But in a good way.
9. A pairing that I love: Anything with Mal except Book and River ie Mal/Simon, Mal/Jayne, Mal/Kaylee, Mal/Zoe, Mal/Inara, etc. Also I like Jayne/Simon and Jayne/Kaylee.
10. A pairing that I despise: There's none that I really hate, just don't get a few. Not into River so anything with her, I'm not into. Didn't use to like Wash/Zoe but I'm warming up to them.
Veronica Mars
1. The first character I first fell in love with: Veronica. She's just too cool.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: I've always loved them all but I'll say Logan because by the end of the first season he was tied with Veronica for my favorite character.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Again, I love mostly everyone.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Used to like season one Duncan so that counts.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Again, Duncan. I don't like what Rob has done with his character ie basically nothing.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Logan. Yum.
7. The character I'd want to be like: Veronica. Especially season 1 Veronica. Then Lily and Logan.
8. The character I'd slap: Duncan hoping he'd become more interesting.
9. A pairing that I love: Fab four=OT4. Logan/Duncan, Logan/Weevil, Veronica/Norris, Veronica/Lily
10. A pairing that I despise: Duncan/Veronica season 2. I don't do boring.
Grey's Anatomy
1. The first character I first fell in love with: Cristina. She's too funny.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: No big changes but I do like Alex more now.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Probably Alex at least in degree. Too bland for me.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Um..Burke? At least in early season 1.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Izzie but only in degree. She's still cool I just used to like her more.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Burke. Guhh he was great in 1x05.
7. The character I'd want to be like: A bit of Burke and Cristina would be nice.
8. The character I'd slap: Meredith when she gets self-centered and Alex when he's mean.
9. A pairing that I love: Cristina/Burke of course.
10. A pairing that I despise: George/Meredith. Just not right for each other at all.
Queer as Folk
1. The first character I first fell in love with: Brian. So awesome.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Probably Ted although I do love Emmett a lot more than before.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Probably Michael. He grates at my nerves and is a bit too boring for me.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: I have unfortunatly seen some Justin hate so I'll have to say him. I adore Justin, especially s1-3.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: On that note, the Justin love did go down a bit in season 4 and 5. I just couldn't identify and he lost some of what I love and admire about him.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Brian. Who wouldn't?
7. The character I'd want to be like: Season 1-2 Justin although in some ways I already am.
8. The character I'd slap: Michael whenever he's mean to Justin or anyone really.
9. A pairing that I love: Brian/Justin will forever be my OTP that captures my favorite romance dynamic.
10. A pairing that I despise: Brian/Michael. It doesn't work besides being BFFs.
Highlander
1. The first character I first fell in love with: Methos. He claimed me so easily.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Duncan. At first he was just alright and now I adore him.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Not really into Joe or Amanda too much.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Not familiar with any hating.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: N/A
6. The character I would shag anytime: Methos. Yum.
7. The character I'd want to be like: I wish I could be like Methos. It'd be cool to be 5,000 years old too ;)
8. The character I'd slap: No one's really slappable.
9. A pairing that I love: Duncan/Methos are immortal love.
10. A pairing that I despise: Not into Methos/Alexa.
Nip/Tuck
1. The first character I first fell in love with: Christian. So smooth and yet completely messed up.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Not love but I certainly like Matt a LOT more after the season 3 finale. Finally he was a hero instead of a jerk.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: I'm not too fond of Sean or Kimber.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Not love but I do like Julia a lot more than most.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Sean mostly. He just did a bunch of things to make me dislike him in later seasons.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Christian definitely.
7. The character I'd want to be like: I would never want to be as messed up as most of them are so I'll say Liz. Although itd be fun to be more like Christian.
8. The character I'd slap: Matt whenever he's being an idiot/jerk.
9. A pairing that I love: Christian/Julia. Now that is chemistry. All they need is a chance...
10. A pairing that I despise: Sean/Julia. Give it up already, it isn't worth it.
