2010!

Happy First Day of 2010 everyone!

I am feeling so good about this year. I know I usually always say that but this one feels like a great setup. I am getting work done on my Festivids vid! The process is pretty easy which is fantastic. It is so nice having vidding be so easy with big thanks to great tech. And of course today I find the *perfect* vid idea for The Office. It sucks that this was the season where I fell out of love with the show although this song is so perfect I might have to do it. It reminds me why I fell in love with the show. I'm really hoping I'll get a lot of Glee vidding done this year because I feel it's my second chance to truly vid a show I'm in love with right when I'm in love with it. I'm still bummed I didn't vid The Office as much as I wanted back in the day not to mention other fandoms that have come and gone. But I am feeling very vid inspired and productive so hopefully that will change this year. I want to do the end of the year vid meme next year!

Really missing California and can't wait to go back. Warm weather and palm trees and sunshine will be sooo nice. I even miss the freeways although not so much the slowness of them. It is just weird not having five way lanes here, it feels deserted. I leave Monday morning and am hoping my return flight experience will be a better one. It will help having a laptop that doesn't need power adapter all the time and having less stuff to bring (no more big speakers and external DVD player!). I am planning on putting in some vidding and TV time :)

Still have to watch the last two Doctor Who episodes which considering I've seen the preview, says a lot about how much I care about the show. Was extremely bored by Water of Mars, wish I had only seen the last 10 minutes or so. Oh well. Have started watching Twin Peaks and like it a lot. I know Dale Cooper from Sex in the City and Desperate Housewives so that's a bit distracting but he's soooo pretty when he's young. Also he's the llama guy from I think the 2005 Premiere intro vid. I love the mystery and am looking forward to seeing what happens. The music is some of the eeriest music I've ever heard.

It is sooo nice working on a vid on a deadline but not feeling rushed or stressed. If only every deadline situation could be like that.
