That? Was perfect. At least the ending was. SHOW!!! God I am so in love with it. That Forever dance pretty much sums up my entire feelings towards the show. OF COURSE THEY WOULD DO THAT! The Office loves to do those pop culture things and I loved seeing my characters interpret it. Pam banning it! Michael asking if Pam knew it was YT! Michael dancing like a kid, like himself! Phyllis and Bob dancing! Andy with the whatever it is! Erin twirling! Kelly and Ryan dancing!! Even STANLEY dancing!! And OSCAR DANCING OMG!!! That was amaaaazing with his moves and how serious he was and that turn and stumble and omg I love him. Angela NOT dancing!! Creed dancing inappropiately!! Dwight kicking Isabelle! Hahaha it was all wonderful. Most perfectly when they all danced together at the end. I love when all my family gets together and dances.
It was funny that the song started just when I was reminded why weddings are so boring and why I NEVER want one like that with boring music and in a church or any of that. And I'm glad Jim and Pam got away because they needed a wedding for THEM and not one for their families who would make it about them.
And speaking of dance scenes, the hotel room one was awesome! Oh god I was dying. Meredith doing the robot! Andy taking over and dancing hardcore while OSCAR SMILES AND PUTS HIS HANDS UP (ONLY ONE) AND THEN GOES OVER TO COMFORT HIM IMMEDIATLY AND TOUCHES HIM!!!!!! Yeah that's my Andy/Oscar shipper going crazy gleeful over that. Just when I thought they weren't going to happen too.
The worst part was the cringeworthy wedding toast scene which even made me who almost never gets embarrassment squick with this show almost die with embarrassment. Just ughhhhh to all of it, both Jim and Michael.
I've been pretty meh over The Office lately, sadly and this makes me so happy to be in love with it again. Throughout all five seasons I have been in love with it including Jim/Pam and this season it was like the switch turned off except for a few cute moments and the wedding promos/focus in fandom was just boring me this season. But this helps a lot and I'm glad I can feel in love again. Not the perfect episode but full of love and sometimes that's all you need.
