+ what did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?: volunteered for a burlesque show, made it through the 10 year anniversary, hosted a derby party, visited nigel in seattle and saw the sox at safeco field, had a fun/romantic dinner on a roof deck, went to vegas and played blackjack, played in a national kickball tournament and flip cup tournament, captained a softball team, went to a wedding as a “real” date, and unfortunately got fired
+ did anyone close to you give birth?: yep, my brother had another kid, this time a boy caleb jonathan; born at 11:30 am on 11/6
+ did anyone close to you die?: my parents put our dog down; she was 16 years old and pretty much a family member. i guess i’m lucky that no people passed away
+ what places did you visit?: colorado, florida, the cape, seattle, las vegas, cleveland. i think that’s it
+ what would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?: a job that makes me feel like the day-to-day is worth it. really worth it. i would also like to have a trip to spain

+ what was your biggest achievement of the year?: it may be silly, but it’s pretty great to have found an awesome person to love. also, making it to vegas is a close 2nd
