Okay. I'm experiencing a slight blargh imbalance due to strange inability to add any sentences to my fic WIPs. I intend to remedy this tomorrow WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE. Just as soon as I decide which one to work on first. *is gripped with indecision*

In the meantime here are things that are not blargh but are in fact DELIGHTFUL.

I am trying to restrain myself from commenting on the OMG SO AWESOME things up there, because I suspect it will lead to long fascinating discussions, and then I (& probably also you?) will not get anything done.

So I will just say ENCOURAGEMENT for the fic! If sentences aren't working, add words! If words aren't working, throw excess punctuation at it!

And I'll mutter to myself about awesome things (I'm in the physics-major lounge at school...people would give me funny looks for the muttering, but they're all going "PIONS! MESONS!" in states of great excitement. So I'm probably safe. Physics majors = weirdos! I would know!)

Dude there's a special lounge for Physics majors? Is it in some kind of lead-lined box?

Yes. Well, actually, it's a sealed box containing both couches and work tables. Physics majors are inserted into the box. From the outside, it is impossible to tell whether the physics majors are asleep or awake AND THEREFORE THEY MUST BE BOTH. We call it Schroedinger's Lounge.

Actually we don't, we just call it by number. Or "lounge". But the part about the couches is true!

Um, randomly. Those kids shouting about particles were actually talking about penguin diagrams, which I hadn't known existed -- quantum field theory, EW -- but are kind of adorable.

HEE! Stop it you are making me miss academia. What can I go to grad school for next? [Yet strangely this does not make me crave the company of my brother-in-law's brother, who is a Physicist but never lets me in on the jokes.]
