Continued Damnation Of Early Mornings.

Still too early to do anything, and too cold to run, so now it's Survey: The Sequel!

-faith-

What religion do you follow? I'm agnostic, effectively atheist.
What religion were you raised as? The above.
Do you believe that forgiveness is a religious property, or a human property? Human. All religious properties are human ones.
Do you believe in magic? I'd like to.
What was the last promise you broke? 'Sure, we'll meet at three!'
Have you ever said the words to a prayer and not meant it? Every time I've said one.
Do you believe that anyone could be perfect? No.

-hope-
Did you get everything you wanted over the last holiday season? I wasn't really hoping for anything in particular.
Regarding your future, what is the best thing you could hope for? Not to be ordinary.
Do you let yourself get your hopes up for something even if you know that there is a large chance of failure? Yes. And strangely, I get down about certainties. My level of hope is inversely proportionate to the likelihood of something happening.
Have you ever bought a lottery ticket? Yep. Fool.
Do you gamble? During the Melbourne cup. (Mandy's mother actually asked me to explain the form guide to her, so much do I seem like a beery old gambler.)
Have you ever had something called off on account of bad weather, but then gone ahead and done it anyway? Painful rowing memories.

-charity-
What causes do you support? Human rights causes, when I can afford it. I volunteer more than donate.
What causes have you given money or time to? Too many to list. Most recently, to the RSL, for Anzac Day.
Have you ever worked in a soup kitchen or done another kind of outreach for the homeless? Not in a soup kitchen.
Would you ever consider joining the Peace Corps, Amnesty International, or another travel-inherent worldwide charity group? Yes, I've always had a plan to join the Peace Corps on my 26th birthday.
Do you give money to the homeless on the street? No. If there's somewhere near and I have money, I'll buy them some food. (And, in the case of one adorable Scottish guy, a room for the night at a hostel. I'm a sucker for a Scottish accent.)
Have you ever helped out a friend with basic needs, like rent or food? Yeah. I plan to track them down and have them repay me with their blood.
What's the greatest extent you've gone to help a friend in need? I exist. What more do you want?

-fortitude-
What are you most afraid of? Being ordinary.
What did you do today that was really brave? It's not even 9am!
Who is your favorite superhero, and why? Does Captain Planet count? He had one damn fine mullet.
Would you put your life in danger to rescue someone? Yes. (Particularly if they were Scottish.)
If you were to face the Wizard, would you want more courage, more brains, or more heart? Brains. The others, you can acheive yourself.
Have you ever gotten stage fright? If so, when? If not, how do you avoid it? Before I've gone on stage, every time I've ever done it.
Do you consider yourself to be a leader or a follower? About half a mile down from the herd, distracted by something shiny.

-justice-
Have you ever been summoned for jury duty? No.
If they reinstituted the draft (for both genders), would you go, or would find some way out of it? If I was conscripted, I'd go. I don't see how anyone could let others go off to war, whilst sitting smugly saying 'I'm a conscientious objector and I won't go'.
Do you support capital punishment (the death penalty)? No. Very much not.
Do you believe that Dubya is rightfully President of the USA? From what I understand, no.
What was your favorite media circus trial? What kind of question is that?
Have you ever written a letter to a politician? Yes!

-temperance-
What do you have the hardest time moderating yourself on? Thinking before I open my mouth.
Do you collect anything? Not intentionally. I just hate throwing things away.
Are you addicted to anything? Hah!
Have you ever put anything on layaway or used an installment plan? No.
What's your preferred method of paying for things? Sexual favours.
Tell us one thing you wish you hadn't let yourself do: Get all these scars. Be ugly. Say to Paul what I did. Everything, ever.
Do you feel that you obsess over things? I either obsess or don't care. There's no middle ground.

-prudence-
Who is the wisest person you know? None of us.
Have you ever participated in a vigil? Not exactly.
Do you take advice when it's given? Not unless it's what I wanted to hear.
What area are you wisest in? Am I really the person to ask?
Do you drive defensively? I don't drive at all.
Have you ever had unprotected sex outside of marriage? No.
What did you learn today? Glow-in-the-dark sheep are not as adhesive as they first appear.
And of course, what is your favorite heavenly virtue? Hope.
