Great episode and all, but after seeing it, all I remember is the one most important thing - Patrick! :D

For all the good things in this episode...Patrick's return was the best part. Dammit, I need to make myself a Patrick icon!

The most recent spoilers from Voice Up magazine mentions that Tieria was chosen to "be with the humans" and to be a Gundam meister, so it's feasible that he knew nothing about the innovators. Seeing how the plan was for Celestial Being to be destroyed anyway, perhaps that's why he was kept in the dark.

That does make sense. It seems a little strange that they wouldn't put into place some failsafes to get rid of him or automatically switch over his loyalty, or whatever...but I can forgive it. Besides, maybe they did put in those failsafes, and the ~*~power of love and nakama~*~ overrode them.

Seeing Neil in this episode makes me want to cry all over again. Celestial Being was able to be where it is now because they were fighting to keep it together in his memory.

I kind of feel sorry for Lyle now cuz he just can't compare.

Yeah, I really loved the not-so-subtle hints that the thing that made Celestial Being a family was Lockon's efforts.

I have trouble feeling sorry for Lyle, because pretty much every time I look at him I'm reminded of what a cheap route Sunrise used to keep a Lockon-lookalike in the lineup...but they can make up for it somewhat if we see him face genuine consequences, nasty ones, for the ill-fated decision to use him to replace Neil.

Given what I have learned this week about some of the future models, I'm fairly certain Marie/Soma won't be killed just to progress Allelujah. His promise to not make her fight may have to be broken, though. I do wonder if the Soma personality is still separate enough to surface again, or if Marie is permanently dominant and Soma is just sort of there in the back of her mind.

I'd love to see that promise broken; seeing one of the very, very few active combatant females in this show get chickified was one of the things that turned me off of the last episode despite the things I liked about it.

I'd really like to see both Soma and Hallelujah still be lurking around, because them fighting--either against each other or, in brutal fashion, together--could be awesome and delightfully angst-inducing.

While I'm not sure if Marie or Soma will be piloting, I do know that she will be getting a new mobile suit.

I think even if the Soma and Hallelujah personalities come back, they won't be fighting against each other. Marie seemed to indicate that Soma was still there and at peace with things, and Hallelujah never knowingly attacked Soma. He only found it was her after that last fight in season 1. Even if Hallalujah is nuts and sadistic, I think he still liked Marie. Now, the two of them fighting together, well... wouldn't that be a sight?
