Hopefully a quasi-decent night of sleep will rid me of the bothersome desire to write a fic where Shikamaru and Temari wind up as co-Hokages. Especially since I kind of do want to write a serious fic about them that doesn't end in tragedy, and them winding up working together somehow is really the only way I can see them having a stable relationship and remaining in character...no! Dammit, I must resist!

Also, last week's New Scientist contains an article entitled "The Irresistible Rise of Cybersex." I'm going to read it in bed tonight (bowmp chicka wow wow). If it's interesting, I'll quote it here tomorrow. If nothing else, New Scientist is always good for a laugh.
