Ugh. I just don't know how I'll be able to look at the screen whenever Neo comes on. >:/ And I'm not looking forward to what Morosawa did to Athrun, either, even though he's not one of my favorite characters.
That's really my main motivation for watching it ever at all. Admittedly, I do also want to meet some of the characters that people talk about. But. I am probably going have visceral reactions of >:O >:O >:O every time Neo comes on screen. I only hope I can stomach those.
I admit that aside from the Murrue-and-Andy stuff in phase 13 I haven't actually watched any of the episodes prior to Neo being picked up by the Archangel yet.
This method is not the best for getting any sense of what is actually happening in the series, but fortunately I have yet to work up too much interest in Shinn's storyline, so that doesn't bother me too much.
See icon! I'm all about One Piece, but you knew that. It's really fun, and you'll tear through them fast. I think I read the first 20 volumes in a day. The only downside is that some of the scanlations do a -horrible- job with translating names in the older chapters (older being right through the Skypiea arc). If a name looks like nonsense, it's probably the scanlators trying to romanji-ize it directly instead of realizing that One Piece uses names and words from all sorts of languages.
Also: Ouran High School Host Club is fun. It would have been my second suggestion. And you should also watch Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, just because it's awesome.
Some places might list it as The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It's up to episode 9 or 10 now. When you watch it, just keep in mind that episode 1 is supposed to be a zero budget student film, and look for things that don't quite jive with that. :D
Hmm. It's been a while since I've really gotten into Kakashi, so it's hard to say.
What drew me to him at first was, like with so many characters, the contrast. There's his air of eccentric laziness, his porn-reading, his walking right into the dumb trap Naruto set for him (which, in retrospect, he obviously did on purpose to get Team 7 to underestimate him)--and then he turns out to be totally badass. And then he turns around and says that everyone he ever loved is dead. And he smiles when he says it.
Just the number of levels he has takes my breath away. The way he's constantly seeking to distance himself from the rest of the world (always seeking out ways to make people underestimate him, to keep them away from him, to make them dismiss him), but Team 7 draws him back to it and more and more it is revealed that he does care. I also find his identity issues utterly fascinating--the way he's willingly sacrificed what little self he had to take in the memories of his loved ones

Although on the other hand I hear OP fandom is sweet and not retarded like every other fandom in the world, which is amazing.
And yeah, that's pretty much what I expect from Air Gear. :D

But other than that, Ouran anime = yes. It's very fun.

A++ awesome.

I only think you should watch Destiny because I want to see how you end up Fixing Neo In Fic/RP, frankly.
