Zach's concern with Luna and the baby seemed to be somewhat alleviated when he left the bedroom and walked toward Tracey. He was still worried about finding some place to live for them and finances but somehow being with Luna earlier and finding Tracey with the bottles of liquor laid out before her, it let him feel as if everything would be alright.

He walked over to her, seeing her wry smile and shaking his head. Zach glanced at the bottles and said, "I'm not sure there's enough there to take away my problems." His hands gripped the side of the bar as he stood next to her. "I can't believe this has happened." He shook his head before he pivoted until he stood in front of Tracey, his hands taking hold of hers.

"How are you, love?" His fingers trailed up her throat until he cupped her chin and tilted her eyes toward him. He didn't know how or if it would change them and they'd need to talk about it. But that was for later. Instead, he smirked at Tracey and tilted her chin up further, his lips a moment from hers as he replied, "I think I know exactly what poison I want." Zach's arm wrapped around her lower back and he pulled her close before he devoured her with a kiss.

Tracey watched him walk over to her, concerned by the weight she could see in his shoulders. Tracey knew that everything would change with this moment, but seeing it was another thing entirely. Tracey wished that she could take that weight on her shoulders, harder than she had ever wished for anything. She'd never wanted to help someone before, always concerned with herself, but this was different. She wanted to help Zach. She wanted to see him smile.

When he came to stand beside her, she moved behind him, her hands rising to grip his shoulders, squeezing them gently and lending what comfort and strength to him that she could.

He wondered how this had happened, but Tracey didn't. A quick examination of the bathroom had shown that Luna had no contraceptives and by the look of it, never had. Tracey doubted the girl even knew what it was. She raised an eyebrow behind his back, but resisted the urge to tell him exactly where he had gone wrong.

When he turned around, her hands slid gently over his chest before trailing down and wrapping around his waist. "I'm all right. Adjusting, but all right." She leveled her blue gaze at him, searching his eyes a long moment. "Are you all right? I'm more worried about you than me."

His hands slid up to her face and she paused, looking up at him. Tracey returned his smirk, and his comment made her laugh. She opened her mouth to respond, but found his mouth covering hers, blocking out any sound. She moaned softly in appreciation, her arms sliding up to the middle of his back before pulling him closer. She responded to his kiss, more passion than hunger. Tracey wasn't sure she wanted to fuck at that moment, but she did want to sear his soul clear of his worries, if only for a moment.

Zach was surprised by Tracey's acceptance and calmness, even more astonished by her word and her actions. "I'm worried about you." His hands moved slowly down her sides, grazing along with curve of her hips. Zach's sincerity filled his brown orbs because he didn't want to lose Tracey. He shared with her a lopsided grin before he said, "I'm fine other than the fact that I'm going to need to find more work and maybe even a bigger place."

His hands found the small of her back and he pulled her close while they kissed. "I love you." He murmured against her lips, letting her understand the depth of his feeling as he kissed her passionately again, one hand finding the underside of her breast through the thin material of her dress. Zach didn't know what he wanted but he did understand that it involved Tracey because he needed her in his life, more than ever.

When he pulled away, his free hand slipped under her dress and cupped her bottom while his eyes darkened slightly. It wasn't lust or need that drove him but it was appreciation for what she'd already and as he brought his lips down to hers, he whispered. "Thanks for everything, love."

"I'll be fine, Zach." Her hand rose to cup his cheek, her thumb running along the line of his cheek. "I just." She paused, searching for the words. "I want you to be able to depend on me for once, Zach." She smiled a little at his words, leaning forward and placing her forehead against his. "I'll find work too. Perhaps the Beedle bar needs a barmaid." She wanted to help him. He believed in this so much, the three of them. She wanted to see that it could be believed in. "I'm bored at home anyway."

Tracey sighed into the kiss, loving that every touch set her heart racing. "I love you too." Tracey never thought that she would ever say those words and mean it, but with him, she really did. She whimpered into the next kiss as she responded with what ever she had left. "I love you, Zach."

When he pulled away, Tracey found herself breathless. She leaned forward, laying her head on his shoulder and looking up at him. She gasped when his hands slid lower and laughed at the look in his eyes. "Always, love. Always."
