It was a boring Tuesday night, Astoria decided, her fingers trailing along a glass of some cocktail she had ordered. This town really was boring, during the week as much as during the weekend. There wasn’t really anything to do for fun. Of course, she could’ve just sat in her loft, painting more on that wall of hers, but she had decided she’d had enough of Blaise hanging around her for a while. He was probably as bored as she was, but Astoria was a little cautious about dragging him along to go do something fun again. She didn’t really want a rematch of last time’s events. So tonight, she had gone to the Beedle Bar for some drinks.
But the company was lousy. Just some lads sitting at the bar, downing their ales and telling lame jokes. No, this was definitely not her idea of fun. From her spot in the booth however, she had a very clear view of the door. Her eyes kept straying to it every now and then, waiting for someone who looked more interesting to walk in while wondering if tonight could get anymore boring.
