Su only came out of her room above the Beedle Bar long enough to pick up her cat Abi from her flat. The rooms didn't have a "no pets" policy that she could find, but she hoped it wouldn't be a problem in the future. She wasn't planning on staying there long, anyway. Already deciding to be in Annwn for her birthday and the day after, she didn't need to owl the Ministry about her absence nor did she want to jump the gun and owl them her resignation just yet. Sure, she was pissed, but she didn't want to regret something later.
After feeding Abi and making sure her cat was at home in the room, she went downstairs and sat the bar, ordering a Firewhiskey. She knew alcohol as strong as Firewiskey didn't take long to effect her, but she decided for her birthday she'd allow herself one. The ring was still on her finger. She had decided she needed time to think.
Sagging against the counter, she placed her face in her hands and sighed heavily.
Do I really want to do this? Do I want to be party to the insanity of this arranged marriage to make my mother happy or do I want to just...
