Thank Merlin for weekends. Astoria had been packing some stuff in her trunk. Of course, she had slept in this morning, grateful that she didn’t have to work on weekends. Well, who could expect the Wizengamot to actually do something during weekends? ‘Bunch of fossiles.’ She though to herself. She had decided to take her sister’s advice for once and check out that town. What was it called again? Annwn?
If it was really as peaceful as her sister had written to her, then Annwn was just the place to be. At least for a while. Astoria didn’t think she could stay forever in some wayward hell-hole with no excitement, but it would have to do. Even if it was to get away from Voldemort’s Hand for a while. Another owl had come yesterday while she had been writing back and forth with her sister, but she had ignored it. Of course, she knew from experience it was not a wise thing to do, but she didn’t think they’d be able to find her in the middle of nowhere.
Closing the lid and shrinking the trunk, she put it in the pocket of her cloak, before taking a good look around her apartment. Did she pack everything she needed? It was only a little vacation, so she hadn’t really packed much. Necessary clothing and all that shit. Pulling the map off the dresser, Astoria studied it. She didn’t really know where to go, so she decided to just give it a try to Apparate there. Surely, it couldn’t be that hard to find it.
She left her apartment and ducked into some alley where she would be sure no Muggle would spot her simply popping off. Closing her eyes, she concentrated on ending up in Annwn. Not that she even knew what the town looked like... With a small pop, she was gone.

Third time’s the charm, or that’s how the saying goes. She had ended up in the wrong place twice, but had managed to reach her destination on the third try. Apparently, this town didn’t have a hotel, but after talking to one of the locals, she had searched for the Beedle Bar. The rooms they had available looked awful in her eyes, but Astoria was after all used to having her luxury. She rented one anyway. It wasn’t like she was going to live here either way.
After having unpacked her belongings, she decided to check out the town. Might as well go out and see for herself how peaceful it actually was. She decided to head back in the direction of the square where she had ended up earlier. If she recalled correctly, Astoria had spotted a small restaurant there.
The Mellow Mushroom. Astoria gave the outside the outside of the building a critical look, before entering. The place was tiny, almost cramped even. She spotted about four tables with four chairs each. Luckily for her, there was no one sitting at the tables. Walking up to the counter, she ordered a vegetarian pizza after having read the menu stuck to the wall. She picked a table near the window and sat herself down, waiting for her order to arrive.
