Gloomy Day...Gloomy Mind
Missing those who haven't left yet.
Missing my rat, Ju Ju, who we had to have put to sleep yesterday.
Everything is grey...a haze.
I can't focus.
Some pain, but nothing as bad as last week's migraines.
Thumping in ear is annoying. Hearing gets muffled quite a bit. Don't want to lose hearing in my good ear. My bad one sucks!
Dreamt about my Ju Ju last night. Yeah, how pathetic is that? I just saw her running on her wheel, and playing, and eating to her heart's content. Maybe I saw her in Ratty Heaven. :)
Also dreamt about New Orleans. Main dilemma: only having a few days there and trying to decide on where to eat. CRISIS! I woke up craving Beignets, Crawfish Etoufette, and Jambalaya Omelettes!!
Going to Chicago this weekend.
Saturday...a wedding.
Sunday...trying to see friends and family
Monday...coming home
Not enough time. I don't get to see my museums or downtown. I have to try to push everyone together for one dinner. And then I want to talk to them all but only have a limited amount of time.
Have to plan on going back in the spring. If anyone wants to come with let me know. I need to see my museums, Lincoln Park Zoo, downtown, maybe go to a Cubs game, enjoy the restaurants, go to the old and wonderful cemetaries, and take time with my friends.
I want to sleep today.
Though...I think I'm halfway there...
