NO MORE REVISIONS!

I FINALLY finished my short story, "Keen". There will be no more revisions. That baby is done! I'm rather proud of it. It's my favorite and I would love to see it published. Have to type it up. The hard part: finding a magazine to submit it to. Horror/thriller...a good old fashion ghost/revenge story is a hard genre to submit to and there aren't many (I thought sci-fi/fantasy was limited). Some want slashers. Others want vampires. Yadda yadda yadda. So now the research. I'm up to it, though.

Feeling somewhat better, but as always this plague-thingy is taking its sweet time with me. It's been with me for so long I'm thinking of naming it.

Heard a great line while I was watching my Looney Tunes Vol. 2 DVD boxset. Bugs was working at a department store. The manager decides that he wants to stuff Bugs and put him in the taxidermy department. Well, of course, it's a game of cat and mouse. As usual (Bugs is such a diva), Bugs dresses up in a slinky dress and the manager thinks he's a customer.
Bugs says, "I'd like to see something small in bedroom slippers."
The manager, very sleezily says - as he moves in closer to Bugs - "Confidentially...so would I."

I lost it! Of course I started hacking, too. But it was funny (at least to me).

Oh yeah...the plague has seemed to turn me into an insomniac...
