"Countries" are a myth
Theft was the reason for grifters promising protection and grifters started to claim legitimacy via nepotism. I decided a long time ago that borders are just in place for taxation purposes and the old anarchist line "taxation is theft" applies. YouTube is still horrible at choosing videos and channels to recommend where about 90% of their suggestions are NOT on my subscribed list and about 2/3 are channels I know are fake... Either paid to spout disinformation or AI created content that is often 90% accurate and 10% complete BS... AI hallucination crap read by AI put over random video clips roughly about the topic. Many channels I watch daily are not even suggested in the search suggestions so I need to search their channels daily. Occationally their stupid algorithms accidentally give me a new-to-me channel I actually like but haven't subscribed to yet. In this case, the channel is Johnny Harris and the topic of that video, the creation of the modern version of a country titled "How Humans Invented Nationalism". I only watched a second video and also enjoyed it (topic geopolitics). I have had a few ideas on how to replace the modern concept of borders (posted about here on LJ) because, anarchy is bad so SOMETHING needs to replace governments and taxes and the judicial system and protection from colonial fascists deciding to invade. All my goals in life are made more difficult (or even impossible) by either governments or their borders. This has required me to add "anarchist tools" or "prepper practices" to my goals regarding "talking animals both real and fictional". Peanut the Squirrel and Fred the raccoon getting taken by force from an animal sanctuary and killed to test for rabies may have pushed enough neutral voters to Trump's side. I have been dealing with this over-powered animal control force for over 50 years now in several parts of Canada, most of the USA, South America as a whole, and the agricultural lobby in the EU... And it is only getting worse every year. If I had the money, I would buy an oil rig and create my own country for people who want to own exotic-but-not-dangerous pets or large numbers of them (as long as they are doing it correctly as evidenced by healthy animals with long lifespans for their species). The other need is secrecy to keep my animals safe and animation-related intellectual property safe and inventions that disrupt powerful industries from getting me killed as has happened to dozens of people I knew (including relatives). Governments want secrecy for their crimes but hate secrecy for their citizens and actively fight against secrecy of the rest of the world. So... My secrecy tools keep coming up against government overreach in the digital and broadcasting realms.
