one week & counting...
one week and counting to the day. i cant believe its almost here!? i have been avoiding the topic for some time now & it freaks me out when i think of it, but i must admit im very excited. today we figured out the housing arrangements & even though i was a bit let down, at the same time im thrilled and not surprised how things all worked out. im rooming with stefi & the guys & i think we'll all manage... we are the only ones who have the terrace :) i got my visa/passport back, and my isic is done (although i NEVER want to use it bc my picture succcccccks -- i hate overpaying walgreens for humiliation!).. this week was uber long, but thankfully its come to a close, just about... at least finals are over! thats really all that matters to me.... whether i did well & passed is another entirely. my mom & my brother are heading down tomorrow... as much as i love them & want to see them, im torn & tired. i think knowing theyre coming makes everything set in a bit more... i have to move still and im getting boxes tomorrow.. not too much to move thanks to erika needing things :) her apt is too cute & i cant wait to get back for parties on the terrace. i wish i had an extra week to tie all the loose ends i have... i wish i had more time to go home, as it is, i only have about a day or so alloted to go home (if i can wing it). i hope this london airport crisis will not loom over travelers too long. im dreading my flight (even though im not flying into england) if they won't let you take a carry on -- what am i to do for 11 hours? i mean really?! at least let me take my melatonin so i can sleep. everyone has their trips all figured out & i really dont have much planned out... i do have everything in order for holland & italy, but i dont know how im going to get around or what im going to do for 8 days after i finish & you know, i think im ok with that -- that way, if i change my mind, there is no let down & there is no stress to do anything right... i enjoy last minute stuff. we also got our schedules & i can tell this is going to be veryyyy different... i know matthew is going to be difficult & dictator-like, but i think ive had enough preparation from damir, sixto, & cardona so i think i will survive, even if barely. so let the countdown begin & let the good times roll till friday.....
