I can't watch the video, I'm sad. And I'ma go off on a tangent (in my journal, don't worry) about the reactions to this. Heh.

I've seen both Remus and Sirius as 'person, not gender' people

D'you know what my problem with R/S is? I agree with this (at least Sirius, I never really thought a lot about Remus because... oy, will take ages, but neither gender nor person sums it up pretty well) and I just don't see how they'd wind up choosing each other.

Haha, I haven't bothered to find reactions (if it ain't on fandom_wank, I don't read it) - but I'm sure there are real gems. That convently miss the part where he says Cuaron obviously was wrong. Heh.

I haven't thought about it that much, actually, but there's a point there. I can't remember that much about the few R/S fics I've read, but there's probably some fanon way...

I used to see Remus as the will-take-love-when-it's offered-because-werewolf? but in light of DH...? Not so much.

Fanon ALWAYS finds a way. ;-) I just don't... see it. I dunno, look at the way they interact in SWM; Sirius is PRETTY MEAN to him.

I'm so bad, I actually had to *think* about what went on in SWM apart from the obvious stuff. Need to reread. Aaaanyway, I don't think I ever saw it as being mean per se, just arrogant/haughty. Which might as well be the same thing, though. The Wormtail-might-wet-himself part was assier, IMO - if only because he ought to have known it'd hit home (I think Remus might've been a bit harder to insult than Peter, he's pretty calm all the time. When he's not having a meltdown, but apparently that only happens in wartime. But then I also think MWPP-Era Remus was a bit... gutsier? Alive? than HBP/DH-Remus.)

I hate fandom. Why do they need to bash the heck out of Remus/Tonks just because they liked Remus/Sirius/thought he was gay. Why can't he just be bi? You know you CAN love two people in a lifetime.
