Regarding Sir Terry Pratchett

My husband is reading Night Watch to me tonight while I sip wine and listen. This seems like a lot for someone missed often as a favorite author. So the thing is, I'm a literature person whose eyes have a tracking problem-- I can't read. Reaper Man, by the man in question, was the first book I really could just focus on enough where I was damned determined to read it. Otherwise, I could only get through text because of skimming or because middle English demanded such complete attention.

Please tell your stories. They might just matter, even a little.
