Aw, buggers...
I bought the wrong pruners...
Got the big sturdy ones thinking they would last forever...but didn't think about how they would be to actually use. Big and heavy = tiring! and I have a pile of tree branches as tall as myself to cut down to size...by hand, and bundle, by hand...and set out to the curb for pick up. Two trees worth but one was just humungously branchy and weedy looking...so very little fire wood, tones and tones to bundle.
So tomorrow back I go to exchange for a lightweight pair of pruners... that may brake after a few years like the last one (or maybe before I finish this pile)...but at least I'll still be able to use my hands/wrists after cutting a few branches...
Boy, is this going to entertain the neighbors.
...The ones I want to ask to put up a privacy screen on the fence between us...(I will be so very upset if they say no to my idea...and the only reason they would say no is to be spiteful...but seeing as they dump all their junk where only I can see it...meh...I don't know....I hope they will go for the idea! I think they should go for it. Will also ask them to split costs but I'll just be happy if I can put it up, even if I have to pay for it all myself.)
