Nothing like pinning a seam and finding that it is magically an inch off. Argh. This instance is particularly annoying because I just sewed the same seam (princess seam on the back of a jacket bodice) twice in the outer fabric, and it matched perfectly both times. Stupid squiffy lining fabric. I think I will go work on something else for a while... something like studiously ignoring the dishes that need doing.
