So, Fall Out Boy. They were my first bandom band. They got me into bandom! While I never had that emotional connection that some lucky people had to them, never felt their music and words resonate in my bones and soul, I have had my share of times dancing in my room, music blasting from my tinny CD speakers; turning my sister onto them just from sheer repetition of the CDs; meeting some amazing people through bandom that I wouldn't have if not for them. I *was* lucky enough to see them live twice, on those oh-so-yearned-for Australian tours, and I will always love them, as a whole band or as solo artists (Patrick solo album omg!!!!).

Long live the car crash hearts, as the twitter hashtag says. :P How about we get that thing trending, show Pete we don't all hate him? (Srsly, some people on the internet should have their fingers cut off. D:)

Work news! We have some of the higher ups from the Brisbane lab at work this week, going over our knowledge of the new system. It came into effect at the start of November, and we got one week of training in it before we went live. One week! After they left we were on our own, though we had our folders and pages and handbooks. And we were able to ring and contact them of course, but you're really kind of flying blind by yourself in that situation.

When they audit, they take 50 random forms from our pile of work, check them all, then give you a percentage of error. I had - drumroll please - 6%! Only three forms incorrect! That was the best out of all the Data Entry girls! Even our Team Leader had worse than me with 19%. I was obviously really pleased to hear that, and it was a bit of a confidence boost. Some of the girls had over 50% incorrect, so yeah. Go me. :D

I've started a new show, have you heard of it - Veronica Mars? :D It's so awesome! I'm only on episode 11 of season one, so PLEASE NO SPOILERS, but damn that show is amazing.
I love Veronica - she's fantastic. Funny and witty and written really well, I think. She's so smart and sassy, and really doesn't care what people think. I heart her.
Keith and Wallace are great supporting characters to Veronica, I like them both a lot.
Weevil. Weevil! jk_rockin pretty much demanded I love him immediately, and during the first episode I thought she was a nutcase, I didn't like him at all. But his character development over the first half of the season has been nothing short of outstanding. His and Veronica's relationship is mysterious and complex and I adore it. Fistbumps! *__*
I hate the sheriff, but we're supposed to so that's cool.
I was blah on Troy and glad he left.
Duncan is - weird. I don't know what we the audience is meant to be feeling towards him, and even now 11 eps in it's still unclear who he is. So I don't know, you know? He's moody and gloomy and I find I'm kind of just waiting for the scenes he's in to be over.
Logan - hmmm. He is such a JERK the first few episodes. Total rich guy jerk asshole. Awful to Veronica all the time, and you're ready to write him off till you start seeing glimpses of his home life. I'm partial more to him than Duncan, because he's funny at least, and an entertaining character, but I'm not sure I actually like him.

So that's been my week so far! On the plus side I started a great new show and had some good news at work; on the down side one of my favourite bands may be finished in it's current line up forever. Hits and misses, kids. <3
