(no subject)
Today was fun! I worked this morning, but only for an hour and a half, plus it was double time and half for being a Sunday. Which is like $60. Cool with me! (The way I drive home takes me past a street called James Street, which always makes me smile ♥) After work I went bowling with some friends, which was awesome. I am so bad at it, but that's not really the point of bowling, is it? I came last in the first game, and then second last in the second game. The reason I didn't lose again? Gerard Way. No, seriously! I was losing, I was getting three's and four's each time, and then Welcome To The Black Parade came on over the speakers, and I bowled a 7! And it was still on the next time I went, and I got a spare! It was seriously awesome. :D
I'm home now, and am watching High School Musical 2 with my sister. She bought it yesterday. I've only seen it the once before, the first time it premiered on the Disney Channel here in Australia. Damn I love these movies. I prefer the songs in the first movie, but the second ones are good too. And I've said it before, and I'll say it again: they better give Ryan a boyfriend. Or, at least not a girlfriend. The boy deserves some love, dammit!
Re: Grant Hackett winning silver in the men's 1500m. I was in my car, in the KFC drive thru, and I think I scared the girl in the window, lol. I was like "Swim! Swim faster, dammit!" as she was handing me my change. The last 300m were on as I was driving home, and the last 75m, right as I turned into my driveway. I couldn't get out of the car, I was banging on the steering wheel yelling "Swiiiiim! Swiiiiiim!" It's all the commentators fault, they get so excited. Good on Grant for getting the silver, though. Seriously, it was like less than a tenth of a second difference between gold and silver, that's hella impressive.
