Eh, money. Who needs it?
Went shopping with some friends this morning after work to try and find a 'Princess' costume for a hen's night I'm going to on Friday. I bought a tiara. My costume, ladies and gentlemen.
What I did buy however:
- A Tim Minchin DVD
- Hot Fuzz for $12.99. Bargain!
- I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love by My Chemical Romance.
- The All-American Rejects by The All-American Rejects (I need to have the actual CD's of my favourite bands, not just downloads.) (Strangely, AAR was in the Punk/Metal section of the CD store? Which is why I haven't been able to find it before, I'd wager. Don't even know what made me check the A's. Oh well! :D)
- Stargate: SG1 The Ark of Truth!!! I didn't know it had been released in Australia!! Such a good surprise!
- Phone credit.
- Fuzziest slippers known to (hu)mankind. SO SOFT OMG. *nuzzles them*
Hey. It's the first time I've spent money in a couple of weeks, not counting the movies, so I'm allowed to splurge a little. *curls up in slippers and watches Stargate* SO COMFY AND HAPPY, I CAN'T HEAR YOUR DISAPPROVING GLARES.
Then when I came home I got a text from an old high school friend who I haven't seen in ages, and we've made plans to meet up next weekend. \o/ But then I put the doughnut I wanted to eat in the microwave for too long and burnt it. /o\ Ah, you win some, you lose some.
