(no subject)
Another school day over. I Started off at 11:30 with nursing lecture where we learned about this wonderful "little" thing called a nursing care plan...25 pages of nursing assessments and history of the patient and diagnoses and all that...AHHHHHHHHHH!! not cool. The it was off to my hour and a half wo/men's studies course. For some reason i always want to pull my hair out and scream out of confusing after it. Its not that i dont get the stuff, it just totally bombards you with all these theological ideas and it questions everything about my faith... but awesome course either way. So for you luther kids, TAKE "wo/men and the Pauline Tradition" with Melanie Johnson-Debafre..youll enjoy it i promise! (: Then i had a nice 20 min break to talk to the mom on the phone, and then some espanol until 3:30! and i am SO proud of myself bc after that i went staight to the nursing office, got my clinical assignment and typed my client journal up right away! So now i can relax tonight, watch some OC and ER and go have a drink with Jenny and Tania.
aaaaaaaaaaand tomorrow is going to be busy- but its all good bc as of 3:30 i will be free and headin to Madison to see the fam. YESSSS
If some of you wonder why on earth im never online, its bc i have a totally retarded computer that needs to be completely reconfigured. Good thing my Daddy is so smart!He'll fix it tomm. hopefully as of monday i'll be back on and able to acutally do homework in my OWN ROOM! what a concept! bc we all know how annoying it is to sit and wait in olson 3rd study lounge for a computer.
but yea..what else can i say.. Its really starting to seem real for me, the whole Rochester deal. Was up yesterday and visited the Mayo Clinic and St. Marys. They are the most beautiful 2 hospitals you will ever be in and im so excited that that is where i will be trainging to be a nurse. Its hard to believe that i only have a year and a half left! craziness. Our apartment is GORGEOUS too! Its called Sunset Trails..its right off of 41st st. (off highway 52). Its brand spankin' new, has a pool, underground parking, personal patios for each resident, a living room, kitchen with an island, a dining room, 3 bedrooms, a walk in closet and 2 bathrooms..plus our own washer and dryer. SOOOWEET. My room has a set of french doors that open to my very own patio. GOTTA LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! Im romming with jenny, chelsey and jill... luckily jenny and I get our own rooms.
K it's time for the OC, what a G-R-E-A-T night!
