So after watching 50+ youtube videos, my two favorite, which require no knowledge of the people in them and are super short, are 2 popstars vers an adorable little kid and one star being left out. I have watched these so many times.
I think that NEWS and KATTUN should go the way of corporations and merge into one group called NEW KATTUN or better yet, KATTTUNNYSTK.
The merging would be just so that the 3-person 4-person camera shots can group 'em the way the fans do! The dorks (Koyama, Nakamaru, Koki), the best friends/super popular (Kame, Yamapi, Ryo, Jin), the cute girls (Tegoshi, Ueda, Massu), and the forgotten (Shige, Junno). Think of the photoshoots of them taking up an entire double-spread foldout just to make sure everyone is there! And the music videos where they can regroup into different combinations based on musical talent (Tegoshi/Jin) or lack thereof! The best singer leaving for abroad? No problem, there's one other person with talent to save the group!
And best of all, as a 12-person group, they can now go against Korea's 13 person band, Super Junior and overwhelm girls with their sheer numbers the way Super Junior do in this video (which cracks me up because of ALL the coordination they have to do to make sure that everyone gets to sing one line and be in the center and then rotate to the next one. And the street shot of them walking together! They are their own damn gang of pansies pretending to be thugs!)
With KATTTUNNYSTK, you'd have your entire cast for a school drama.
Edit: Holy crap, Super Junior did a song with DBSK, which means that in this video there are EIGHTEEN people!
