Ignoring the two demoted trainees, I think I can almost distinguish all of the members of KAT-TUN and NEWS. See that? That's...er, whathisname talking, and uh...
...well I suppose 2/3 isn't bad.

oh friend!!! it's about time!!!! *cough* just remember this:

yamapi = i think you know who he is *lol*
tegoshi = cutesy boy w/ swishy black hair & the best voice
masu = tegoshi's miso soup partner and also a decent singer & likes to smile a lot
ryo = skinny guy with mole by his eye & looks kinda pissed off
koyama = tall skinny guy with orange hair
shige = the one who can't sing
kusano = could be shige's twin, but looks stupider/pothead
uchi = uke tall skinny dude w/ tea-brown hair that also sings well (and very high)

as for kat-tun:

ueda = looks like he's from a kpop boyband and tries too hard to be like gackt
junno = the one with the REALLY nice smile
nakamaru = has the same haircut as koyama & a big nose *lol*

for news, it's kusano and uchi that i can't tell apart. they're not in enough other stuff with news. half the time i can figure out who shige is since he's the one who dropped the gyoza.

kusano = DUMB. he just looks really really stupid and acts incredibly stupid too.

uchi = tall and cute. hy says the camera eye fucks him like he's always getting raped o_O *ahem* so just think cute uke dude w/ the high voice always standing next to ryo.

it's no good. unless they're interviewed on by one with their names, i won't be able to tell. luckily for me, they're just trainees and never appear in any videos or lives. because when i see them but don't recognize them, i just assume it's someone else with a haircut that i can't distinguish.

NewS=Cutesy, retarded colors that look like they're straight out of munchkin land but WITH EXTRA TECHNOCOLOR

KAT-TUN= SLUTTY, SHINY, ONE BRIGHT COLOR. FEATHERS. FUR. PLEATHER. HATS. Lots of vests with no shirts underneath, or clothes hanging off of them strategically.

JUST REMEMBER KAT-TUN STANDS FOR SLUT AND NEWS STANDS FOR SO STUPID AND INNOCENT LOOKING YOU WANT TO ADOPT THEM LIKE PUPPIES.

No, no. Even in the group concerts the styles of the outfits don't change from the band. sometimes you just have to pick out the small details that will tell you.

Oh, GOD. When you put it that way, the first one was so obvious. It's weird because they're all roughly the same age, but since KATTUN sells sex, they're portrayed as older??? The second one was confusing because Kanjani8 was there. I got lost. ;_;

I think part of the problem is that when i think of one group as "sexy" and the other as "dorky" then i confuse the dorky people in both groups (Koyama, Koki, Nakamaru.) I keep thinking that Nakamaru is part of News!

Haha I'm telling you! Ignore the dork factor or slut factor and just FOCUS ON THE STYLE OF THE CLOTHES. You never go wrong that way.
