Ok, so I'm late by an hour but she knows why.....apples to apples is one kick ass game.
I didn't have time to write you a fic, but I did write a Massu fic for the JE Remix, so I'm posting it here since he's your favorite. Happy belated~!

Ignoring all that, live? awful! I've realized that I can like KAT-TUN listening their albums (save for that particulal song), but not their live performances. I saw a few old ones, and they are clearly better. Jin's eyefucking the camera is all kinds of awesome and I still like Nakamaru a lot (he's a great public speaker and his beatboxing is great, of course), but I don't think I enjoy them live. Even when Jin is in tune and they have a great relationship with the camera, well, they don't seem to eyefuck *each other*! I mean, I saw them actually *rubbing* each other, but they still didn't *look* at one another. And they definitely are not the best dancers out there either. I really do wonder how is it possible that this guys can sell more than NEWS.
If you do know of a great performance where they, even if they sing badly, seem to be having *fun*, please link me to it!

I know what you mean about eyecontact with each other. I love watching NewS perform together because they always seem so happy to be singing and to be singing together. KAT-TUN interaction is usually only seen between Jin & Ueda or Jin & Nakamaru, and both I've only seen in pre-2006 concerts. Unfortunately, I can't think of any off the top of my head that made a strong enough impression, though I'm sure if you youtubed phrases like Jinda or jinxueda etc you might find something.
I think my favorite KAT-TUN performance of all times all involved NewS. It's the NewS & KAT-TUN performance of "Baby Blue" in 2005, and it's adorable-- Tegoshi is nervous because he's singing with Jin, but then Jin smiles at him, Kusano tries to hug Ueda (who just looks annoyed), etc. They also did a performance of "Wonderful World" (I think) with NewS and Jin sings really happily over Yamapi's shoulder. Their joint performance of "Summary" is pretty good too. They also have this dance battle from Summary 2004 of NewS Shock Me vs KAT-TUN's Fight All Night.
