The Lion's Gone Next Door

Sep 10, 2010 12:32

Apparently, in French, the lion does not sleep tonight. In French, the lion is, in fact, dead. He is mort ce soir.

I like to think that the lion has gone to live on a big farm, where he can play with lots of other lions and chase dik-diks.

earworms, glorious childhood memories, music

I had to look up what a dik dik is. It is way too cute to be chased by a lion!! Even cuter than my beloved springboks.

That is deeply unnerving! I also like the distinction between his being mort ce soir and what he may be doing any other night. As if this same lion is, sometimes, not dead!

Kinda what I was thinking... is he UNdead tomorrow night? What was he LAST night?

Enquiring minds want to know.
