nitasee asked to see the finished gothic lolita kimono from the pattern in the last Haute Doll. So here it is, modeled by Perpetua. I cheated and used Fun Foam in the obi intead of fusible webbing, because I don't have any fusible webbing and don't know where the iron is. Fabric from the Cosmic Cow, stockings from somebody off ebay, shoes by mimiwoo.com, hat from the local doll shop that's only open 2 hours a week.
The issue with the pattern should be leaving the newsstands any minute now, so rush out if you're burning to make your own. Happily, since the version in the magazine was slightly cocked up, you can find a correction online here: http://www.hautedoll.com/Corrections.php
