Im a sucker for chocolate chip cookies...I love how the air fills up with the scent of freshly baked cookies all day. Even the bathroom smells so good. Its heaveeeeen...HEAVEN I TELL YOU!
csollano had everyone at Silk Serendra for her birthday on Friday. Im not a huge fan of spicy food...but if its Thai, bring.it.ON! I want me some of that changroabactamsdfekklajsdlawhatever-the-hell fish in coconut curry sauce. There were leftovers so we got to take home some goodies :)
After Silk we went over to check out Alchemy to see what the fuss was about. Its not bad actually..the Ortigas crowd is completely different to the Makati crowd were used to so it felt like we were on another planet. Ran into
monicafrancescawho discovered that if you buy drinks on the third floor, you cant bring it downstairs (and vice versa). LAAAAAAAAME. It was less crowded upstairs but we found it a tad boring so we took our drinks, hid them in our bags, and snuck them downstairs haha! When 3am hit, we decided to call it a night. I had a shoot in 7 hours and Cathy, Pornstar and Geri were getting tired so we left the bar and headed home.
The next morning wasnt so bad. I was off to a good start..Surprisingly, I got up at 8 am without any trouble pulling myself out of bed (which is unusual) left the house at 9 and made it to makati a little before my calltime hit. Woo! I was on time and ready to rock! This was a PMAP (ooh did I forget to mention Im a member now? Yay! hehe.) group shoot. PMAP stands for the Professional Models Association of the Philippines...sort of like a union that protects local models (which is really important in this cut throat industry).
Anyways calltime was at 10 and if everything went as planned..we would have been out of there by 3pm...Naah...The photographer was late...Hair was late...Stylist was late..Make up was late...basically everyone was late EXCEPT for the models (which, in my experience rarely happens)..not just any late but two hours late.
I was pissed. The make up artists were rushing so I still looked like a zombie. I usually bring make up in case I need to do a little retouching of my own but I left it at home (stupidstupidstupid!) They shot in small groups and my group shot last. Of couuuuurse.. Shit like this usually always happens to the newbies. Arg. We were done by 6...and it didnt stop there..
Two taxi drivers refused to stop and three were overcharging..I was standing out in the rain for what felt like an hour and one guy had the nerve to ask for 350 pesos!! I let out a loud "AAAAAAUUURRGRGH!!" slammed the door shut and flipped him off. The guards in the other buildings were giving me weird looks but I finally managed to get a ride (the guy asked for extra 50 pesos giving me all these excuses...I wanted to cry...Makati drivers and always like this) and rushed to another shoot. I made it in time for the last layout so we shot quickly . After that, the MRT station. Crowded as hell but it was worth it...I got off in Shangrila mall and took a another cab home. I beat traffic, saved a bit of money, and was finally at peace.. Ate the rest of my chaorangotangohowever-the-fuck-you-spell-it fish and watched DragonballGT til I nodded off.
I pretty much spent all day today in bed vegging out in front of the TV and I dont regret it either. If its Sunday, you'll find me at home stuffing my face with chocolate chip cookies and just laying around the house aaaaaall daaaaaay loooooong. I know a lot of people who are so afraid of sleeping their lives away...they dont know why or how I do it.
Why not? Sleep is a luxury...allow yourself to switch off for a day! Sundays are obviously the best days to do it..so do it man! Take a load off...treat yourself to a cheese pizza...it was a long week! Its an inexpensive do-it-yourself spa treatment..without the mud baths and seaweed wraps of course..but it works.

Oh my gad..I look like a dude. There was no make up artist for this shoot because the photographer wanted it to be a natural shot. I had nothing but a bit of concealer and some bronzer on my face...I kinda like how it sorta looks like theres a black flame on my head. This is my version of Ben Stillers signature Magnum look haha :P
I wanna send something to Conan O Brien. Think if I send him something wierd enough he'll actually feature it in one of his shows? haha that would be so bloody awesome..Maybe Ill print his face on a tie and see if he actually wears it haha!
