kitty update: we're back at home- decided to take the middle road. No overnight in kitty hospital w/ IV fluids, no euthanasia. Fluids under the skin (which I can continue at home), appetite stimulant, assortment of yummy stinky foods, and her favorite warm blanket on the bed. So far she's absorbing the fluids, ate a good tablespoon of the tuna-sardine chow, and is napping. good kitty! It may only get us a few more days, but she seems more comfortable already.
