Title: I Need to Know
Author: salmiaggi
Rating: PG
Paring: Kris Allen/Adam Lambert
Genre: Angst
Summary: Kris isn’t even trying to hide the tears.
Disclaimer: This story is a work of fiction, created by my dirty mind and temperamental imagination and written down by my little fingers.
Author’s Notes: My first Kradam fic! I was actually not supposed to write my own Kradam fic, because there are already so many brilliant fics out there, and, admittedly, I am scared about posting this, but when inspiration hits, there’s not much I can do about it! Inspired by and written about Kris Allen’s song I Need to Know
Feedback: keeps me alive and writing!

Adam sits on the black bar stool in the centre of the small stage. The expression on his face is open, brutally so, it’s full of pain and it hurts him to see Adam look like this, so vulnerable.

Adam starts singing the song, just him on the stage, no-one backing him up, and the audience listens, enchanted. His eyes are closed and his hands, his perfect hands, interpret the song of their own accord. Kris never knew it could sound like this. Adam looks right at him then, eyes pleading, and Kris isn’t even trying to hide the tears.

Roads in front of me
Taking me astray
Are you leaving me?
Or are you leading the way?

Title: I Already Know
Author: salmiaggi
Rating: PG
Paring: Kris Allen/Adam Lambert
Genre: Fluff, fluff, fluff
Summary: “I told him that it’s not about a girl. That’s not really the same thing. You of all people should know that.”
Disclaimer: This story is a work of fiction, created by my dirty mind and temperamental imagination and written down by my little fingers.
Author’s Notes: A bit different kind of drabble about the same song.
Feedback: keeps me alive and writing!

”But you told Jim that it wasn’t about anyone.” Adam frowns as he looks at Kris over the island in the middle of his large kitchen. Kris peels the potatoes with frustrating precision and concentration on the other side of the room, not bothering to look up at his lover. Adam waits for a reply as he continues preparing the salad.

“I told him that it’s not about a girl. That’s not really the same thing. You of all people should know that.” Adam can hear the smirk on Kris’ face. “I told him that it was a spiritual thing and I wasn’t lying about that. Back then I really did need to know. You know, spiritually.” Adam ponders about it for the tiniest moment while making sure that all the pieces of cucumber were the exact same shape and size.

“I see. So, in stead of lying, you just refused to tell the truth.” Adam looks at Kris again, this time meeting his gaze, and sees that gorgeous smile of his that makes the corners of his eyes wrinkle in such a familiar, adorable way that Adam’s primary reaction is to walk up there and place tiny kisses on those lines. Holding a sharp knife in one hand, a recipe book in the other, wearing the cutest apron Kris has ever seen, the make-up-less superstar uses all the self control he can manage not to jump Kris right there on the checkboard kitchen floor.

“I wasn’t lying, man. I just really, really didn’t know. And I really, really needed to. And now I do.” Suddenly Kris is standing right there next to him, grinning like a kid in the toy store before giving him a chaste kiss on the lips.

“Less staring, more apple slicing. I’m hungry.”
