I haven't had a pattern picked up with them yet, but I hear that it can be as close as 2 weeks. If she doesn't pick your pattern, you don't actually hear from her at all. I think I'm going to try my bag again with better photos and if she doesn't pick it again, then I'm going to try magknits.com
It's been hot and humid here, so don't miss it too much! I'd rather be where you are. This has been a nutso summer for us. My husband was in a roll-over accident a few weeks ago. He's recovering and back to work already, but it's not been a picnic. :-/ The driver who was at fault wasn't insured, so we're having to deal with lawyers and everything.
Our little SnB has EXPLODED. We have at least 8 people there every week. It's like we're bonafide all of a sudden.
Good luck with your submission. It's a good project, so if she doesn't pick it up, I wouldn't get discouraged. Try somewhere else. I don't remember if you crochet or not, but Crochet magazine 2 issues ago had a special article on how to format a written proposal for a print magazine. If you can get your hands on it, there was some good info.
