Fat stretching the skin makes the pores a little larger generally, right? Or no? It seems like it would... At least the skin area between pores increases, cause it's not like you grow more pores if you stretch your skin...

Interestingly enough though anni, you DO grow more pores. The number of pores per square inch stays, or at least comes pretty close to, a constant.

However, some do grow larger than others.

That's really cool...

So do you have any idea when the new pores grow in the timeline of stretching? I mean, there's a point of stretching (extent of stretching, and length of time it is stretched) where it won't really shrink back anymore, at least not all the way. If the skin were to shrink, would the pores decrease? Or do the pores only appear after the skin won't shrink back anymore? Or do extra pores routinely appear and disappear?

the act of stretching actually creates more pores and then if/when the skin returns to it's old size the pores close up and the oil glands get broken back down.

or am i making this all up?
