So, after reading Michelle's Livejournal (too lazy to post a link), I thought to myself, why am I so antisocial? then I started thinking about my "Antisocial" habits.
I'll go to the mall with friends, but only a couple. if more people show up, i normally just walk into the nearest book/game/weapon store. "yeah, i'll meet you at the food court. *ducks into the isle for a few hours*"
I like to go to parties, but i'll never be the center of attention, even at my own. i'll go hang out in a corner or play video games (Richard's party is an especially good example).
Sometimes it annoys me when i'm being quiet for once, and everyone thinks i'm sad or depressed, and in reality, i just have nothing to say.
Or, sometimes, when i just want to think for a while (like yesterday....a certain person among you knows exactly what i'm speaking of), i'll go off and do my own little thing. i'll be perfectly happy doing what i do best (which can either be 'thinking', or 'doing nothing'). but people will still come up to me and ask me what's wrong. gah.
so, looking at that, i can deduce that it's either your guys' fault, or mine.
crap.
:)
important note: (this is mainly for people who are technically inclined, don't have a cell phone, or are bored) to anyone that has a headset and/or mic, John Do and i set up a server in a program called 'teamspeak' (www.goteamspeak.com) where we can all chat real-time. it's really for when you're playing fullscreen games and want the extra edge, but it's also a really good alternative to paying for a phone bill (or if you have no phone privacy, like me). if you want to chat, just talk to me or john do via aim (Gcarlin42 and PaintInMyBrain, respectively) or something, and we'll set you up. you'll also need to download the client version of teamspeak, but it's only 5 megs (respectively, this is the size of about 5 average sized songs). go to the website and download the client for windows. Client, people, not Server. ok? yay. we need people for this, because it's fun and i don't have a cell phone.
