EEEEEEE!!! My birthday present from my father arrived today via Amazon, and it is the SHIZNIT, for now I am the proud owner of all five seasons of Saved by the Bell on DVD! FUCK YEAH! And the first season of The College Years are on their way tomorrow! Ohhhhh, sweet nostalgia. They're all so young! And the clothes! And the uber-cheesy dialogue! And

Right now, I'm watching the episode where Zack bugs the girls' slumber party and Kelly tricks him into thinking she's a psychopath. And it is fucking HILARIOUS.

Also? Lisa just called Michael Jackson "dreamy." HAHAHAHAHA!!!

I also have to say, I love the packaging on these DVDs -- they give titles, but not summaries, so every episode is a fresh shot of "OMG I REMEMBER THIS ONE!!!" glee. Like, I'd totally forgotten that Screech got hit by lightning and could predict the future for one episode. Remember that??? SO FUCKING GREAT.

I thought there was only 1 season of the college years, actually... I may be wrong :P

See, I'm not old enough to REALLY remember it being on TV. I'm pretty sure it was already in syndication by the time I was watching it before school. Doesn't lessen my love for it, however.

However, The fact AC Slater is all over the media again makes me happy in ways I can barely describe.

Was there really only one year of the college series? I thought there were more seasons, for some reason. *checks imdb, source of all wisdom* Yup, you're right. Only one season. So, YAY!!! My collection really WILL be complete!

And yeah, I was one of the kids who grew up on this show. I still am not over my disappointment about high school not being exactly like Bayside High. DAMN YOU, TELEVISION!

Remember when Kelly was going to go away for a semester on the sea and Zack engaged in wacky hijinks to get Screech to drop out so he could take his place and be with Kelly? And I have NO IDEA why the college years is more fresh in my memory, but apparently it is.

YES! That was one of my FAVORITE episodes ever. I actually haven't seen the College Years episodes in, like, forever, so I'm really looking forward to seeing those again. SO EXCITED. :)
