Y'ALL, I FEEL LIKE BUTT :( *sniffles and groans* I've spent the last week playing tug-of-war with a spring cold. One day, I'm fine! The next day, I'm comatose. FUN, but not NEARLY as fun as having nothing but internet problems both at work AND at home (and I had to eventually swap out my cable modem for a new one, YAY FUN), which means I only got to see the new Doctor Who episode LAST FUCKING NIGHT. But it is okay. I am FINE. Why? Because RTD clearly loves me.
OMG SCOTTISH ACCENT THANK YOU *passes out* Seriously, from the moment I realized that this episode was essentially set in Scotland just as a big excuse to let Tennant show off his sexy-ass accent to the very end, I was in spasms of ecstasy. OH MY GAWD. And then the GLASSES and the WEREWOLF and just ... *exploding noises*
I really love this show. I just do, and I wish my brain weren't all clogged up with snot and stuff so I could be somewhat coherent, because I was all impressed with things like the werewolf scenting out the "bad wolf" in Rose (OOOOO CONTINUITY) and the consequences that Rose and the Doctor are going to have to pay for being thrill-seekers, and that scene in the library where the Doctor figures out what's happening and there are all these jarring cuts and it almost seems like he's in pain from the rapid progression of his own thoughts, and and and and DAVID TENNANT SAID "EDINBURGH" IN HIS HOT SCOTTISH ACCENT.
Yeah. That's pretty much about where my brain lives nowadays. IN MY PANTS.
Also, re: last night's American Idol results? OH THANK GOD FINALLY. *is relieved*
My head is the size of Rhode Island today, crammed with enough snot to populate New York City. OWOWOWOW. If those bastards next door don't cool it with the construction, then I will have no choice but to become that howler monkey from Outbreak and start infecting the workers at whim, and nowadays, Dustin Hoffman is way too coked-out to save them with his Magic Serum.
Great. Now I wanna go home and watch Outbreak. *is a sucker for disaster flicks, and yes, I can't fucking WAIT until Poseidon comes out and I will so be there opening night*
