new year's resolutions and awesome fen

Just got back from Randomerfest 2005 (or is it 2006? I AM CONFUSED WITH NUMBERS), and it was fucking awesome. I love fen friends so much. There is nothing more fun than sitting around in annakovsky's basement, snuggling with the best fangirls in the entire fucking world and watching things like The Neverending Story (and you do NOT want to know about swmbo's twisted obsession with that movie -- YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW), Arrested Development, Scrubs, The Dead Zone, and due South. And yes, I hate lalejandra for making me watch the Big Gay Mountie Show, because I'm going to have to buy all the DVDs now. Also, Anthony Michael Hall? Grew up hot. YUM. :)
Got home REALLY late last night (technically, this morning), because I had to go to work today. And that sucked, because I had about three hours of sleep under my belt. Which meant that as soon as I got home, I napped HARD. And now I am sitting in my living room, watching figure skating on ESPN, because I am gay.
I am also making a New Year's Resolution: I am going to spend a whooooole lot more time on LJ and on the internet in general. I mean it. I've been terrible with correspondence and online activity lately, and I've lost touch with too many people. I miss fandom. Being with fellow fen over New Year's reminded me how much I really, really love fandom. IT IS TATTOOED ON MY SOUL FOREVER.
However, since my life is a WHOLE lot crazier now than it was about three months ago, and I'm working a lot of hours at the office and don't have as much time for the internet as I used to, I'm going to do a little friendslist trimming. There is NOTHING personal, and you're free to defriend me whenever you like, because every day is Defriending Amnesty Day in my livejournal. Seriously.
