oh, the weather outside is frightful
You know what? I hate winter. I really, really do.
First of all, it's cold. I'm not a big fan of the cold. This is why I live in the South. However, because I live in the South where it never really gets that cold, I am a big wuss when it comes to cold weather. I can handle a 100-degree day with a 100% humidity level, fine, no problem, but throw a 49-degree day at me and I shiver and wibble like a baby.
Dude, if you're in New York City this morning and you're walking to work in 15 degree temperatures, then I worship you, for you are clearly stronger than me. That transit strike sucks.
Anyway. Spent the last week battling the last of my bronchitis and the side effects of the antibiotic I was taking to fight the bronchitis (I suck with medications, too). Not fun. Mostly, I just remained curled up in my big cushy armchair, watching movies and reading trashy novels. BTW, The 40-Year-Old Virgin was fucking hilarious. "You know how I know you're gay? You like Coldplay." HEE! Plus, Steve Carell was totally adorable. :)
Christmas is coming up too soon! GAH! And Serenity is coming out on DVD today and I am too broke to buy it! BAH! HUMBUG!
