greeks, geeks, and storms

WARNING: ANY MOCKING OF MY NEW XENA ICON WILL RESULT IN YOUR IMMEDIATE DEATH. I HAVE THE BADGERS. THE BADGERS KNOW WHAT TO DO. THE BADGERS HAVE NO MERCY.

Thanks. :)

My car problems from yesterday are so numerous and hilarious and just "you've got to be kidding me" that I can't even go into it. Let's just say that there's nothing more awesome than getting gas in your car and then turning the key just to find out that your battery has died because you left your emergency blinkers on while trying to get gas for said car. *headdesk*

Anyway, I got home last night after FINALLY reviving my car and sat around like a lump all night, watching Dark Angel because Netflix, for some odd reason, decided to send me the first two discs of S1 even though they were WAY down on my queue. Weird, but okay. Besides, Dark Angel's decent stuff, even if all the slang makes me kinda want to slap someone. I'm such a sucker for post-apocalyptic stories. Jeez.

Tonight, when I get home, I will watch "Objects in Space" and a bunch of other Firefly bonus goodies, because tomorrow, we are going to see Serenity. YAY!

Finally, OMG TROPICAL STORM BETA!!! I'm still eternally amused by Greek hurricanes, and frankly, I'm surprised we got past Alpha. This hurricane season has been MAD CRAZY, and we can all count on the next 10-15 years being like this.

Which, of course, means that in the next decade or so, Charleston will inevitably get hit by a hurricane, and I will get to meet Anderson Cooper and get him to autograph my boobs on live TV. What? If I'm going to lose everything to a storm, then I want my boobies signed by Andy. I think it's a fair trade.
