I adore Trash! It's hard to pick a favorite Firefly episode (Objects in Space and Out of Gas are always near the top of the pile, though), but that one is probably my favorite funny episode. And I adore Mrs. Reynolds. I really think she could have been one of my favorite characters ever, had the show continued (and had she continued to guest star). *uses YoSaffBridge icon*

For some reason I've started thinking of her as the Spike of the Fireflyverse. Don't know how the hell I came to that conclusion.

Knowing that I had Serenity the next day was the only thing that convinced me to watch "Objects in Space", because just knowing that there's another episode out there is comforting. Which is why, a decade after I taped the entire run, there are still two episodes of Beauty and the Beast I haven't watched. Slightly less extreme, it took three months after binging on the first five discs of Sports Night for me to work up the nerve to watch that sixth and final disc.

It's worth watching, though, because it's so very good. And Mal is so crush-worthy.

Heeeeee! I am SO GLAD to know I'm not the only one who does these silly things. I had to wait a couple of extra days to watch the season finale of Doctor Who a couple of months ago, because I just couldn't take seeing Christopher Eccleston for the last time. SNIFF! NINE!!!

What makes it worthwhile, to me, is knowing that after I've watched the last ever new-to-me episode, I can rewatch everything with so much more context that the show I already believed brilliant becomes so much deeper, funnier, more poignant that it was worth watching that last one.

Or so I tell myself on sleepless nights.

You had to like "Heart of Gold," too, what with Mal having actual sex. Looked like he and Nandi were quite compatible in that department.

YoSafBrig has a very respectable bust. I can respect boobs like hers. But no, they're not as beautiful as Nathan Fillion's bare li'l behind. That man should be nekkid more often. In fact, let's just strip the whole cast nekkid! If Joss had done that, come to think of it, the show might've lasted longer . . .
