Transmission went out on me while I was going 50 mph on 290. The car's speed had dropped to 30 mph by the time I managed to weave across five lanes of traffic and the paths of 3 semis to get the car to the off ramp at Higgins Road. But mainly what I'm pissed about is that I had to cancel a class for the first time in over a year, and I'll bet the dean is going to think that I whiffed out of driving to work because the BIGGEST, BADDEST, SCARIEST SNOWSTORM EVER is on it's way (frankly I think it's already over).
