As I approach age 40, I keep wishing it were possible for me to gather up a bunch of my favorite people and just go on a hilarious, spiritually enriching, adventure filled road trip.  But not only are there massive time constraints and responsibility constraints, I also know from experience that while many of my friends used to be road trip people ( Read more... )

I'm road trip people, also, though I am also hesitant due to constraints. It would depend on the details. I've even done the road trip out to where Dan is at in the past.

This comment sort of made me sad, because grabbing a bottle of Grape Nehi and playing Rock-em Sock-em Robots sounds really fun, and I don't have either one.

I think this would have to happen in the summer: a road trip in blizzard weather is not very fun, and while my work schedule has gaps that create the illusion of flexibility, I cannot actually choose when I am on vacation.
