Firstly, thanks to retrotastic for the nudge. ....Had no idea it had been so long.
I'm just bouncing along through life right now...wondering where I'm going to be in the next year or so.
I do hope everyone is enjoying Spring. Those tiny blue flowers make me not worry so much...
The biggest thing lately is:
I have a neice! McKinley Aleene Gordon was born to Holly and Joe Gordon on March 9 at 2:51am. Six weeks early, but still six pounds, five ounces. She's perfect and the parents are well.
Interesting things:
The United States has been controlling mining companies for too long destroying countless villages of Latin American people just to make a buck. It has gone on and continues to happen right under our noses. The "military aid" we send goes to the troops to control peasants and secure land and opportunities to mine for coal. Vote against it.
There was spongy material found in a t-rex femur in which osteocytes and red blood cells can be seen. Thing is though, material such as this has been found in plants, but it wasn't as fantastic until it was found in a dinosaur. The controversy is, though that the creationists are eating it up. They see this as proof that the dinosaurs lived only a few thousand years ago (since organic material usually doesn't last this long, but it actually does, most people just aren't aware. Anything can last for millions of years if it is preserved in the correct conditions). The discoverer (who's name I've forgotten), is also a proud Christian.
Sidenote: t-rex had feathers!
And in conclusion:
I ate a hotdog bun for breakfast. I'm going to the grocery store.
