Things have been pretty good lately. Last week went by really fast! Our class is done with MEAP testing. We had an assembly on marshes and it was boring. Last week I taught all day everyday. I am the class full time teacher now. My teacher is hardly ever in the room. I wonder where he goes. Whatever. i feel more comfortable teaching without him in there anyway. I feel like the class is more mine. HA. So far so good though. We started reading a class novel: Number the Stars. I am reading Bud, Not Buddy out loud as my oral reading. They hate Number the Stars. They have never been taught anything about World War II. I am doing my best to educate.
This weekend was lots of fun. Friday I went to the Riverview Boys Basketball game with Angie and Mary Kaye. We kicked some ass against Milan and we are still undefeated. Afterwards, we met up with Nikkie and Tiff and played some cards and went to a bar in New Boston called McNastys. Beth and James were up there and we all hung out and sang kareyoke and it was tons of drunk fun. Plus, the guy that Beth wants to hook me up with came up there. Steve. I met him. We didnt talk at all. James said he was really shy. He has only had one girlfriend his whole life and doesnt know much about flirting I guess. Well, I am the queen of flirting but still felt out of place. I felt like I wasnt good enough for him. He is working on his doctorate in engineering at U of M. I guess he is a genious. You all know what an airhead I am. I didnt want to look like a retard, so I just stayed away. But I am really interested. He seems like a great guy. James said he thought I was smoking hot but didnt know what to say. We'll see if anything comes of it.
Saturday I went to Embers with Angie and Lesa.Ian's band was playing again and we hung out from 9 til 2 am. It was lots of fun. They had $1 beers and we got food and got trashed. Lesa wants to hook me up with this Marty guy in the band. He is really cute and has a sexy voice, but I'm not sure if we have that much in common. I dont know, I kinda enjoy being single right now. I dont have to worry about anyone cheating on me and I can do what I want whenever I want to.
The superbowl is on right now. Tom Brady is HOT. I dont really care much about football. I want to have Tom Brady's children.
Well, a whole new week is starting tomorrow. I feel like a full time teacher with no paycheck :( I really like the school and the class and the teacher though. My second observation is on Tuesday. I am super nervous!
I think Mr Second Grade hottie has a girlfriend. :( Of course he does! I still think he is a babe and will still continue to flirt with him. Maybe they are on the verge of breaking up.
Oh well. Time to get back to watching the commercials and grading papers.
