I'm really proud of this article. It took a really long time to write and I think I did a good job of giving a guide which both can actually be followed and also is only a summary and not an entire overwhelming amount of information. I wrote this article because in preparation for my upcoming online documentation of designing my next collection, I attempted to find links to refer my readers to and discovered that I could not find this information anywhere online. So, this is my attempt to provide that information and at least partly fill that gap.
